We want any arrangement you enter into with us to be clear and fair. This Refund Policy should be read together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

1. Scope of this policy

This policy applies where you have agreed to and paid for an educational service or material from Youthrinsingor, such as a guidance conversation, a personalised reading plan, or a seasonal learning pack. It does not apply to the free information published on this website, which carries no charge and no purchase.

2. What we offer

Our offerings are educational and informational in nature. They share knowledge, structure and prompts to help you learn at your own pace. They are not regulated advice and do not promise any particular result. Understanding this nature helps set fair expectations around cancellations and refunds.

3. Your right to cancel

Where you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you generally have a statutory right to cancel a purchase of services or digital content within 14 days of entering into the agreement, known as the cancellation or "cooling-off" period. The sections below explain how this applies to each type of offering.

4. Digital materials and downloads

For digital materials, such as a seasonal learning pack delivered electronically, the 14-day cancellation period applies unless you ask us to begin supplying the content immediately and acknowledge that doing so means you lose the right to cancel once delivery has started. Where you have not requested immediate supply, and the content has not yet been delivered, you may cancel within the 14-day period for a full refund.

5. Booked sessions and plans

For services such as a guidance conversation or a personalised reading plan:

  • If you cancel within the 14-day cancellation period and we have not yet started the service at your request, you are entitled to a full refund.
  • If you asked us to begin the service during the cancellation period and then cancel, we may charge a fair amount for the part already provided, and refund the balance.
  • Once a service has been fully delivered during the cancellation period at your request, the right to cancel no longer applies.
  • Outside the cancellation period, you may reschedule a booked session where reasonably possible by giving us advance notice.

6. How to request a refund or cancellation

To cancel or request a refund, simply contact us using the details at the end of this policy. A clear statement of your decision is enough; you do not need to give a reason to exercise a statutory cancellation right. Please include the offering concerned and the date of your purchase so we can deal with your request promptly.

7. How refunds are made

Where a refund is due, we will process it without undue delay, and normally within 14 days of accepting your cancellation or, for goods, of receiving them back. We will refund using the same payment method you used originally, unless we agree otherwise with you. We do not charge a fee for issuing a refund that you are entitled to.

8. Reasonable exceptions

Some situations may limit a refund, for example where a service has been fully performed at your request within the cancellation period, or where digital content has been supplied immediately with your acknowledgement. We will always apply these limits fairly and only as permitted by law. If you are unhappy with the quality of something you received, please tell us, as we would rather put things right.

9. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including those under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If anything in this policy appears to conflict with your non-waivable legal rights, those rights take precedence.
